CIAB Full Form in Medical

What is the Full Form of CIAB in Medical?

The Full Form of CIAB in Medical term is a Complete Atrioventricular Block. When there is no atrioventricular conduction, CAVB is a complete dissociation between the ventricular and atrial activity. CAVB can be caused by a number of illnesses in children and young adults. In this state, there is no electrical communication between the heart’s atria (upper chambers) & ventricles (lower chambers). Both the ventricles & atria begin to beat separately as a result of the disruption of the heart’s regular rhythm.

What are the symptoms of CIAB in Medical?

  • Generalized fatigue may result from decreased cardiac output.
  • Dizziness & Syncope: Lightheadedness and fainting may result from impaired blood supply to the brain.
  • Patients may experience fluttering or irregular heartbeats.
  • A lack of Breath: Respiratory discomfort may result from ineffective cardiac function.
  • The chest discomfort: There may occasionally be soreness in the chest

How CIAB is diagnosed?

  • Important information about possible risk factors along with underlying disorders that contribute to AV block can be obtained via an extensive medical history as well as physical examination.
  • The main diagnostic technique for AV block is an ECG. Based on distinctive patterns and intervals, it captures the electrical activity of the heart and can identify the kind and degree of the block.
